What is the MES Mentorship program?

Hello, we are Nuha and Emma, the mentorship coordinators for the 2022-2023 school year! The MES mentorship program is where we pair first year engineering students (mentees) with an upper year mentor for the school year. Participants of the program (both mentors and mentees) will have exclusive access to mentorship events and resources through the Mentorship Hub.

This year, we are planning to hold social and charity events throughout the school year to help mentors and mentees build strong relationships with each other.

Goals of the Program

To help incoming first years transition to university.
To provide and promote services and resources that are available to us as students of McMaster and under the Faculty of Engineering.
To build a friendly, lasting relationships between mentors and mentees.

Who can apply?

Mentee Eligibility

Enrolled at McMaster for the 2023-2024 school year
Studying in the Faculty of Engineering (Eng, iBio, Comp Sci, or B.Tech)
In level 1 of your program
